The Rural Municipality of Swift Current No. 137 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 12, 1910. It lies in the southwest part of the province and surrounds the city of Swift Current, where the RM's office is located.
Within its boundaries are the organized hamlet of Wymark and a scattering of localities, among them Aikins, Beverley, Cantuar, Duncairn, Dunelm, Java, Player, Rosengart, Schantzenfel, Schoenfeld, Schoenwiese, Springfeld and Wyatt. The Swift Current Airport and Smith Field Airport are also found here.
